Awaiting a Miracle

Hector and Melodie are anticipating the arrival of their little man, expected to be born in just a few short weeks.  Even though he hasn't arrived yet, he is already one incredible little miracle.  It's been a hard few months for Baby Gabriel's family, so I know they're looking forward to the day when they can hold their sweet little boy in their arms and find comfort in staring at his precious button nose and perfect little lips.

Gabriel will be the first boy in this soon to be family of five, and is sure to get lots of kisses and snuggles from his sweet big sisters.

I can't wait to see you with your little man cub in your arms, Melodie.  The connection between a mother and son is indescribable, magical and oh so very precious and watching it develop between the two of you is going to be such a joy.  I know you already love him more than words can say!

Three 3 and Under

It is always such a pleasure to get to photograph the same family in multiple facets.  With each shoot you find a new aspect of their family and personality to capture!  You may remember Melissa from her maternity pictures and their youngest from his newborn shoot earlier this year.  This time around we got to get the entire family in on the picture taking, and then we spent some quality time getting some pictures of just Dad and Mom.

***A HUGE thank you to Grace of Communicate Creatively for the awesome new logo!***

When you have three kids ages three and under, it's nothing short of a miracle to get them all to be still long enough to get a shot!  I'm sure I had said something incredibly witty here to get every one's attention.

Like I said...nearly impossible.  But if at first you don't succeed, give the kids some cookies!  These little sweethearts were even nice enough to share some of their cookies with me.  Have you ever seen Disney's Aladdin where the Sultan is constantly shoving crackers into the parrots mouth?  Yeah, it was kind of like that!

All three of Bernie and Melissa's kiddos have the most gorgeous big blue eyes you have ever seen.

See what I mean?!  They get their gorgeous eyes from their gorgeous Mommy!

And, of course, no post is ever complete without a black and white.  In case you were wondering, yes, I encourage kissing at photo shoots.  Always.

Baby Kiley

I got to spend my morning with the sweetest little head of baby fuzz.  Baby Kiley is seven weeks old now.  She's still a tiny little thing and I got some quality snuggle time with her, soaking up her sweet baby smell.  Thank you, Beverly, for letting me invade your house, not once but twice, to capture images of your newest little addition!

Don't you just want to rub her fuzzy hair?  It is to die for!
Her mommy loves pictures of baby toes, and I can't blame her.  They are definitely precious...all ten of them.
I make babies smile!
No, really, I do!
You have such a beautiful little family, Beverly.  I look forward to spending more time capturing memories of them for you!

Baby Joseph

Meet sweet baby Joseph.  He's as beautiful and precious as a baby could be.  So sweet and snuggly that I didn't want to put him down!  Unfortunately I had to as it's ever so difficult to photograph a baby WHILE holding them.  Pooey.

For the first little while Joseph didn't want to sleep, which was fine by me because he laid still like a sweet little angle while I got some "open eye" shots of him!  I'm pretty sure he was blowing me kisses here - already a ladies man!

Not only do I have a thing for sweet little babies, but also sweet little baby hats.  They're precious!  If you know anyone that knits little hats, send them my way!
Babies always sleep the most peacfully in Mommy's arms.

There is a special bond between mother and son - so intimately precious that a picture can describe it more beautifully than words
Thank you for sharing your new little man cub with me, Dana!

Miss Kamie

I got to spend a good part of my day today with sweet baby Kamie.  She's as pretty as her Momma!

From her gorgeously kissable lips...
...to her perfectly precious little fingers....
...and we were even blessed with a precious baby smile!
I think I'm going to love this little girl just as much as I love her mommy!
